The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Library is proud to announce a new service for Senior and Homebound residents of Hamilton County and the surrounding area. Working to Insure Senior Enrichment allows patrons who cannot visit the library, due to a physical disability, to enjoy the library's collection. All you need to do is send a letter explaining why you qualify for these special services to the library:

Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Library
C/O WISE
1001 Broad St.
Chattanooga, TN 37402

We will send you a WISE membership application along with policies and procedures for checking out library materials. If you already have a library card with us then all you have to do is include your library card number in your letter, so we can verify your address and phone number.

Caregivers, churches, nursing homes, and other agencies are also welcome to sign-up for a special Caregiver's card, so they may check out materials on behalf of their clients.

If you do not have a caregiver or someone who can deliver materials to you, please call the library's Volunteer Coordinator at (423) 757-5425 to see if we have a volunteer that will be willing to deliver to your area. You can also request items be mailed to you for the cost of postage.
