On-Demand (Rental) Items

 

Instead of waiting for books on hold, library patrons may select and rent the newest bestsellers immediately upon release thanks to this self-sustaining library service. When a patron checks out a rental item a charge of $2.00 is immediately due. There will be no charge for renewals of rental items. To check-out On-Demand books or DVDs, you must go to whatever branch has your title available.

To see just book titles that we own, click the Complete List of Titles link above and use the "Limit By" drop-down menu to select Books; then click Go!

DVDs
Cost: $2.00
Loan Period: 7 days
Renewal Period:
no renewal allowed

To see just DVD titles that we own, click the Complete List of Titles link above and use the "Limit By" drop-down menu to select DVD; then click Go!

From the resulting list, if you click on an item you are interested in, you can see at any given time how many copies and where they are available for on-demand check-out.

All rental items have the same overdue fines as non-rental items (.10 a day). Patrons are restricted to 10 rental items at a time per location code (i.e. they could have 10 books and 10 books on CD). Note: rental books, unlike non-rental books, also have this restriction.
